In a few days, the next Rocket takeover is imminent in Pokémon GO, which will bring you plenty of crypto again. Now 10 new monsters have been discovered and you can expect this event. We’ll show you which Pokémon are involved.
What event is it? In Pokémon GO, you’ll face off against Team GO Rocket villains at regular intervals. After things have calmed down a bit around the bullies and bosses in the meantime, another takeover of Rocket is imminent in a few days.
As part of a short event, they will once again cause a lot of trouble in the game and can be found everywhere. They also rely on brand new teams of Crypto Pokémon, some of which can even be caught after the battle.
Now, PokeMiners have discovered 10 new Cryptos in the game code, which you can probably look forward to when the Rocket takeover happens. We’ll show you what they are.
When does the Rocket takeover take place? Rocket’s takeover is part of the high-tension event that begins on January 27. Team GO Rocket will then mess up the game from February 01, 2023 at 00:00 local time until February 05, 2023 at 23:59 local time.
PokeMiners are a group of dataminers who regularly search for new content in the Pokémon GO game code. They then publicly share their findings with other trainers.
His predictions about new monsters and features have often proven correct in the past. Nevertheless, the data is not official information, which is why Niantic can change it at any time or even dispense with a release altogether.
These 10 new Shadow Pokémon have been found
What was found? As the PokeMiners announced via their Twitter account, they’ve come across a number of new Crypto Pokemon during their current search through the game’s code.
This would suggest they come into play as part of Rocket’s next acquisition. You might then encounter the following monsters (via twitter.com):
- Spoink Crypto
- Crypto snout
- Cryptography register
- Crypto blunder
- Navitaub Crypto
- Crypto Fasasnob
- Crypto Elezeba
- Crypto Zebritz
- Crypto Watt Faucet
- Crypto Voltule
What about a release for the Rocket event? Niantic has already confirmed that there will be new Crypto Pokémon in the game during the Rocket Takeover as part of the event announcement.
So it is certain that Giovanni will rely on the legendary steel Pokémon Registeel from February 1, 2023 and therefore you will not see his strong Crypto Mewtwo after that.
And according to Pokémon GO, the crypto variants of Spoink, Elezeba, and Wattzapf as well as Crypto-Alola-Vulpix will also be part of the game from the event. It is therefore obvious that the other discoveries are also related to the takeover of Rocket.
Here’s How You Can Secure Crypto Pokémon
Where to find these monsters? When taking over the Rocket, not only the leader Giovanni will bet on a new team. Rocket thugs and bosses Arlo, Sierra, and Cliff are also bringing one or another new Crypto Pokémon to the team.
Which monsters you can then find with which Team GO Rocket member and whether, with any luck, it can also be a Shiny remains to be seen for now. If there should be any new information about this, you will of course find out about it on MeinMMO.
Where to find the GO Rocket Team Members of Team GO Rocket will sporadically occupy in-game PokéStops or fly around in a black Rocket Balloon. There you can challenge them to battle.
To access rocket leaders, you need so-called rocket radars. We’ve summarized how you get them and where you can find the bosses in the following video:
In order to defeat Team GO Rocket bosses as quickly as possible, you need to rely on the best counters. We’ve summarized what they are and what teams Arlo, Sierra, Cliff, and Giovanni are currently relying on in the following counter guides:
We will update these guides for you as soon as possible after the event starts so you can secure new Cryptos.
How do you like the prospect of the new Shadow Pokemon? Which of the monsters do you want to secure for Rocket’s takeover? And which monsters would you like to capture in their dazzling forms? Let us know here on MeinMMO in the comments and tell other trainers about this topic.
