Former FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF) denies recently transferring funds from Alameda Research crypto wallets after being released on $250 million bail a few days ago.
On December 30, SBF denied on Twitter that it was connected to the current money movements of the Alameda wallets in question. As a result, Bankman-Fried writes, “It’s not me. I didn’t want and couldn’t move that money at all, because I no longer have access to it.”
None of these are me. I am not and could not move these funds; I no longer have access to it.https://t.co/5Gkin30Ny5

With this, SBF responds directly to a Cointelegraph story in which we reported that a wallet with an address starting with 0x64e9 received over 600 ETH from a wallet owned by sister company FTX Alameda. As blockchain data shows, some of the funds were directly converted into USDT, while the rest went to so-called crypto mixers.
The movement of the funds and the manner in which they were moved quickly irritated the crypto community and aroused the suspicions of an insider. For many, it was therefore obvious that SBF was personally behind the transactions.
Alameda ETH addresses are digging through the couch for spare currency and swapping ERC20 bits for ETH/USDT.
ETH and USDT were then funneled through instant exchanges.

On-chain analyst BowTiedIguana, given the general circumstances, concludes that SBF liquidated $684,000 worth of crypto assets through a crypto exchange in Seychelles while under house arrest in the United States.
On December 29, BowTiedIguana had already drawn attention to the suspicious transactions and linked them to SBF. If those allegations are true despite Bankman-Fried’s denials, then he would have at least violated his bail conditions, which state that he cannot move more than $1,000 without obtaining court permission.
Did disgraced crypto founder Sam Bankman-Fried just bank $684,000 from a Seychelles crypto exchange while under house arrest?
His release conditions are that he not spend more than $1,000 without court permission.
Let’s look at the on-chain evidence
