Dogecoin has exploded nearly 40% in the past week, and the meme coin has also exploded since yesterday. No wonder – after all, rumor is swirling: is Elon Musk really working with Ethereum inventor Vitalik Buterin to further develop Dogecoin? Will Dogecoin soon become Twitter’s official currency? Is Doge 2.0 coming? Should you buy Dogecoin now?
Does it make sense to invest in Dogecoins?
This is the big question investors have been asking for some time. Is the coin meme worth an investment – or does it face the same fate as many other wacky currencies? The thing is, Dogecoin can count on a prominent supporter – Tesla CEO Elon Musk. And according to his own statement, he has plans for DOGE.

Dogecoin is set to become the global currency, Musk thinks – and now speculation is growing that the billionaire is putting his words into action. Industry watcher David Gokhshtein, for example, writes: He expects Musk and Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin to join forces to implement some sort of DOGE 2.0. Gokhshtein:
“I believe we’ll all see Vitalik and Elon work together to make $DOGE better in some way.”
In fact, the assumption does not seem too far-fetched, because: Vitalik Buterin is an integral part of the “Dogecoin Foundation” – that is, the institution that is dedicated to the distribution and further development of Dogecoin. Gokhshtein adds:
“Vitalik is familiar with the Dogecoin protocol and it would be easy for him to provide the foundation with the resources to improve the blockchain.
Come more:
“Buterin has also made several donations to the foundation and to Elon Musk, who is in love with the Dogecoin protocol.”
Musk also puts himself forward: he would like to have a payment system on Twitter. At the same time, the South African native hints that it could “maybe” be Dogecoin.
Dogecoin as a native cryptocurrency for Twitter – this of course drives up the price. In the past, the price has already exploded due to less optimistic rumors – so it is not surprising that DOGE is also looking at the prospects of a major use case to come. The Dogecoin Investments_CEO enthusiast writes to his 407,000+ Twitter followers:
“Dogecoin could soon become the official currency of Twitter.”
Is the DOGE price of 1 dollar coming sooner than expected? What evolution do the forecasts foresee?
Dogecoin Price Prediction from 2022 to 2027
- Walletinvestor.com is bearish on Dogecoin, warning of a correction carrying DOGE to $0.0085 despite bullish rumours.
- Gov.capital, on the other hand, expects profits, but more in the long term: DOGE will rise to $0.883 and thus almost to the magic $1 mark by 2027 (+783%).
- The current Dogecoin forecast from Priceprediction.net promises a similar development. As a result, DOGE doesn’t really move in 2022 and 2023, but then pumps up to $0.75 by 2027. Relative to the current price, that’s a 650% return.
Also bullish in the long run? IMPT tokens – now in presale
Predictions for IMPT Token (IMPT), a new eco-friendly cryptocurrency that heralds emissions trading via blockchain, also predict positive long-term performance. IMPT is developing a platform where consumers can do environmental protection through ordinary shopping.
IMPT Token is in high demand in the current presale: the project has already raised more than $13.3 million in capital from interested investors – this illustrates the bullish trend of IMPT Token. Anyone who joins the current phase 2 also benefits from more favorable conditions per token, as the price also increases with the start of phase 3.
