Trilux invited its customers and partners to the Volkswagen Arena in Wolfsburg on November 9, 2022. The aim: to experience innovative technologies in practice, discuss current trends together and network in a relaxed atmosphere. During a tour of the stadium, visitors discovered intelligent lighting solutions from Trilux in the Volkswagen Arena. Then, we went together to the Metavers for a round table on the theme of “Human Performance”.
It is no coincidence that the event took place in the Volkswagen Arena. After all, Trilux, as a long-time lighting partner of VfL Wolfsburg, successively converts the stadium into smart, energy-efficient lighting – and has just extended the cooperation until 2025. In addition, the stadium offers a canvas background to experience Trilux’s innovative lighting solutions live and in action, from HCL lighting in the players’ cabin to the dynamic light show for goal celebrations in the VIP lounge.
“With the Tech Summit in Wolfsburg, we have developed another event for our exclusive ‘Living Contrasts’ program, which allows an intensive and personal exchange with the industry”, summarizes Joachim Geiger, CSO and CMO at Trilux. As keynote speaker, Nico Briskorn, Head of Corporate Social Responsibility at VfL, offered an exciting insight into the football club’s sustainability strategy. There was also a varied support program with a behind-the-scenes tour of the stadium and a tour of the Autostadt on the topic of new mobility.
Technology Pioneer in the Metaverse
Another highlight was the first lighting industry “roundtable” in the Metaverse, organized by Trilux on the theme “Human Performance”. Emanuel Homann (architect), Neel Jani (athlete), Fabian Seewald (artist), Malte Clavin (adventurer) and Nils Berkemeyer (artificial intelligence) brought their individual point of view on the subject. In addition to visitors from Wolfsburg, guests from all over the world were also able to follow the event live via the Metaverse.
Trilux was primarily concerned with gaining initial experience with the Metaverse as a virtual space for customer contact – and exploring the potential for the future with guests. “The Roundtable in the Metaverse was an awesome experience for everyone, which we will definitely use in the future as part of a holistic communications strategy,” says Geiger. Trilux thus steadily pursues its innovation trajectory as a pioneer of technology, according to the motto: test, discuss and optimize everything that is new.
