Binance wants to create a Web3 infrastructure for sports and entertainment

In a press release from Binance, the company’s co-founder, He Yi, reportedly said, “We believe the metaverse and blockchain are the future of the internet. We are honored to partner with Cristiano to bring and show more people an understanding of blockchain how we are also building web3 infrastructure for sports and entertainment.”

CR7 Collection: Four levels of rarity with an exclusivity bonus

The collection includes seven cartoons with four levels of rarity. Each drawing represents an important moment in Ronaldo’s life. All five Super Rare NFTs have a starting bid of $10,000, and the 40 Super Rare NFTs started with a minimum asking price of $1,700. There are also 600 rare NFTs and 6,000 normal NFTs. The BUSD is roughly the same value as the US dollar. The cheapest NFT in the collection is available on the Binance market for $1.84 from November 22.

Depending on the rarity level of the purchased NFT, buyers receive an exclusivity bonus. This includes, for example, a personal message from Ronaldo, an autograph, Binance products, access to all future CR7 NFT drops or a mystery box. The first 1.5 million new Binance users who sign up with the code RONALDO will also receive such a box.

Ronaldo’s next NFTs are coming in early 2023

As of November 22, trades on the Binance market centered on CR7 NFTs totaled $183,361.93. In early 2023, other NFTs are expected to hit the market as part of the exclusive cooperation between Ronaldo and Binance. An exact launch date has yet to be announced.
